Description of the activity
This tour will introduce you to the organisation of the Great War. Spa played a special role: it was in this spa town that the Germans set up their Grand Headquarters, it was here that Kaiser Wilhelm II abdicated and it was here that peace negotiations were held.
The Second World War saw Spa occupied by the Germans, but it escaped the Battle of the Bulge in 1945, which fortunately ended just outside its gates.
After the tour, you can visit the 12th and 13th Line Memorial-Museum, on weekdays only and by prior arrangement (+€3/person).
